Jhené Aiko and Big Sean are expecting their first child together and celebrated the news in an incredibly appropriate way – a maternity photo shoot. The “I Don’t Need You” singer shared photos from the dream shoot via Instagram on Thursday (July 21).

In the first image, Aiko poses solo for the camera while cradling her baby bump, flecks of gold ethereal covering her chest, stomach and hips as the galaxy serves as the backdrop for the photo. In the second image, the singer is accompanied by Sean, who also poses shirtless and looks directly at the camera as a golden yellow and red aura surrounds their bodies.

The rapper expressed his excitement in the comments section and wrote, “Thank you for my family” with an infinity sign emoji below their shared photo, while in the comments to the singer’s solo photo, he wrote that he “can’t wait!” to become a father.

The pregnancy marks Big Sean’s first child, while it will be Aiko’s second. She shares 13-year-old daughter Namiko Love Browner with singer O’Ryan, older brother of former B2K member Omarion.

The rapper and singer are also working on the sequel to their 2016 collaborative album, Twenty88. In a July 19 interview with BillboardAiko said, “With the first ‘Twenty88’, we were playing characters – and it was really fun because we both love acting and watching movies… Expect more drama on the next one. I’m working also on a few other projects that I’m really looking forward to sharing.
