As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic with new variants surfacing. Even more essential is the work of a first responder, the Birmingham-based artist has created a song that she says will help ease the burden they carry at work every day. First responders, we pray for you. First responders, the phone you have now. Where did the idea come from? Well, about a year and a half ago. There were firefighters in the Florida area who were lost at sea and a friend of mine, Steven Mason. Um, I think he might have known them and he found these deals because he felt something, he wanted to do something and I heard the courts and said I wanted them. A few months later, these firefighters disappeared and have never been found. All of our lives have changed in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic. First responders played a crucial role in helping those sickened by daily virus artist Loretta Perry Hutchison, a native of Demopolis Alabama said he was in his heart to do something to honor. Today you will hear tomorrow you may be gone. It only took two hours to produce the video for this song. It rained very hard the day of. And uh I’m telling you something else too. I found out that my daughter’s father that day he had been hospitalized with Covid placed on the greatest amount of oxygen that could be placed on the day of the check-in. He is still in the hospital on oxygen and fighting. Meanwhile, Miss Perry Hutchinson said that since her song hit the internet, it has received great reviews from first responders.
