When it comes to art and entertainment in Burlington, what is more important than celebrating an event like this and raising the youth of tomorrow?

A multi-performer concert, much more than a concert, took place in Burlington, VT, at ArtsRiot on Saturday, November 6, 2021. It was a celebration of community, spirit, hope and love. positive and youthful energy.

The show brought together more than 500 people for a ceiling of 275 people. We had to turn away over 200 people because we ran out of capacity so quickly. It was something unheard of in Vermont. Entirely set up by local children. North Ave’s new song Jax reached 45,000 plays in two days. Her song was reposted by Summer Walker and 6lack. Summer Walker has the # 1 R&B album in the world and just reposted her song. The song will be released on all platforms with the video I made and it will work extremely well. The show is the biggest social news for metro Burlington youth right now. After the show, I received hundreds of comments and messages from children in Vermont saying that the event had changed their lives and had inspired them deeply. A college age kid from southern Vermont approached me after the show and told me he slept in his car to watch the show.

The event was hosted by former Free Press Athlete of the Year, Kevin Garrison, Marley Tipper, Musa Abdi and Kelly Butts-Spirito, all of Burlington High School alumni.

The King Cobras (a group of BHS Alumni dancers – the former BHS dance team) danced with their new UVM dance group The Elites.

The UVM basketball players played and the entire UVM basketball team took to the stage.

Industry professionals representing LVRN + Interscope came from Los Angeles and Atlanta for the show and were on stage as well as professionals from Stream Cut in Atlanta.

New artists are currently in conversation with labels because of the show.

The show was completely free.

Zero Gravity released a limited edition drink at the show.

It was the most beautiful display of community, youthful energy, entrepreneurship and the diversity of people from all walks of life who came together to support each other and feel proud to be from Burlington that I have ever seen.

Lead producer Kelly, whose business is called “Love, Kelly,” has lived in Burlington for over 15 years and has never seen anything like it happen. He said he knew it would be special, but it was far more exceptional than he could have imagined. When it comes to art and entertainment in Burlington, what is more important than celebrating an event like this and raising the youth of tomorrow?
