Congregation Brith Shalom presents a Rick Recht Weekend, November 11-13. The event is part of a “Free to Be Concert Tour”.

Rick Recht is one of the most influential and famous Jewish artists and leaders of our time. His innovations in Jewish music, media and leadership training had a profound impact on the fabric of Jewish life.

Recht is the renowned national spokesperson for PJ Library and the founder and executive director of Songleader Boot Camp – a premier national leadership training conference. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of Jewish Rock Radio and JKids Radio, the first international, high-calibre, 24/7 Jewish music radio networks. Additionally, Recht is artist-in-residence at the United Hebrew Congregation in St. Louis, Mo.

The three-day event begins with Friday Night Alive Shabbat services, Nov. 11 at 6:15 p.m. Recht will also be featured during Shabbat morning services, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.

On Sunday, November 13 at 9:45 a.m. there will be a free PJ Library Family Fun Day concert.

The weekend finale will be a free concert by Rick Recht at 11:45 a.m.

“Rick Recht is an extraordinary chant leader, a powerful prayer leader, a high impact Jewish leader and a loving soul,” said Rabbi Ranon Teller of Brith Shalom.

Sunday’s Family Fun Day concert is co-sponsored by PJ Library Houston Area, the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, Goldberg Montessori School and Mishpacha Minyan of Brith Shalom.

The whole community is invited to enjoy one or all of these warm, musical and multi-generational experiences.

Brith Shalom is located at 4610, boul. Bellaire, in Bellaire. For more information, call 713-667-9201 or visit brithshalom.org.
