Free RiNo First Friday: Art, Live Music, Pizza, Mezcal and Beers – Oh My!

The RiNo Art District celebrates the peak of summer with a First Friday in August packed with neighborhood events, including a special route organized along Larimer between 27th and 28th Streets. The FREE the event is August 5, 2022. The festivities start at 5 p.m. and continue until 11 p.m. with lots of local art, music, food, and more.

Consider kicking off the night at Banshee House, home to artists S.Monet, Yazz and Deep Space Dive-in for a unique gallery experience dubbed Mezcal & Mixtapes, a mix of live music from DJ AL and Hex Kitten, plus a specialty drinks (and samples) from Doña Loca, Madre Mezcal, Yola Mezcal, and Milagro Tequila, and tacos and agua frescas.

Banshee House will also feature a pop-up store from new neighbors, Vinyl Me Please. From there, join Redeemer for an exclusive First Friday promotion — the slices window will feature $6 slices and drink combos from 6-9 p.m. — or enter TRHS for a bonus First Friday drink specials .

Walk a block to see a brand new Endangered mural in the Ratio Beerworks beer garden by artist collaboration The Designosaur & Alexandrea Pangburn, complete with a live acoustic set from Adam Reed of Shepherds and Sailors.

Across the street, enjoy $1 off beers from Odell Brewing – Five Points Brewhouse, where the art of John Knudson will be on display with a live performance by Los Alcos from 8 p.m. 11 p.m.
