Gabby Barrett revealed plans for a luxury album and # 2 teaser album.

Recently, in an interview with Celebrity secrets correspondent Juliet Schroder at CMT Artists of the Year ceremony, the country superstar revealed that she will be releasing new music sooner than you think – this year, in fact.

The singer / songwriter has announced that she will be releasing a deluxe edition of her record breaking album, Gold mine.

“There’s going to be some new music this year, so I’m going to be releasing a deluxe version of my album ‘Goldmine’ which will have a few new songs in it, which I’m really excited about,” Barrett said.

In addition to releasing a luxury project, Barrett told the publication she will focus more on writing songs for her next album in 2022.

“We’ll also be focusing on writing album # 2,” added the “I Hope” singer.

When Schroder asked Barrett if fans could expect to hear songs about his 10-month-old daughter, Baylah May, the hitmaker said she could include a song about her and her husband Cade Foehner’s precious daughter.

Barrett continued, “I’m trying to figure out the theme of what I want it to be, I haven’t done it yet, but I know I’m still writing music about real, unfolding cases. So you will probably find a song about a baby there.

Previously, during questions and answers with Music Connection, Barrett revealed that she is already working on her second album, which will be the sequel to her record-breaking debut project, Gold mine, which spawned hits such as “The Good Ones” and her debut single “I Hope”.

In the interview, the Pennsylvania native said she is currently working on new music for the next project. Barrett even went so far as to say that she wanted to start trying the new music at future concerts.

“Right now I’m working on the music for album number two,” Barrett revealed to the publication. “We are writing and trying to prepare to try out the new songs for our next shows.”

While not sure when her new music will be released, she promises fans that she wants to “make sure the music is the best I can offer.” She later added, “I’m really excited to release new music, whatever it is.”

Gabby Barrett was one of the star-studded recipients of the CMT Artist of the Year ceremony, where she humbly accepted the honor.

“Oh my God, I’m nervous,” she admitted as she coveted the prize. ” Thank you very much to all. Thank you very much CMT! I don’t feel like I deserve to be here in this room with all these amazing names. So thank you all very much. It is a dream come true. Thank you, Michael W. Smith for your support, I appreciate it very much.

Barrett then reflected on his career as an artist.

“This road has not been easy for me. It was certainly very difficult, ”she admitted. “I have had a lot of doors that have just been closed, but by the grace of God, my family and my wonderful support system and team, they urged me to never give up and listen to the skeptics. As you know, there is a lot going on along the way.

You ABSOLUTELY deserve. We are so proud of you, @GabbyBarrett_ ??

Barrett ended his speech by thanking everyone for the honor and raised his hat to his fellow candidates.

Barrett has enjoyed incredible success throughout the past year. In addition to winning the title of CMT Artist of the Year, Barrett was named ACM’s New Female Artist of the Year and won three Billboard Music Awards. She was also named Best New Country Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and won the first honor at the 2021 CMT Music Awards for Female Video of the Year (“The Good Ones”).

She has already won two chart-topping singles with “The Good Ones” and “I Hope,” which was certified 5x platinum and was the # 1 playing country song of 2020.

Her latest single, “Footprints on the Moon”, from her debut album, is now available.
