Police are investigating reports of a shooting on the Oakland Technical High School campus on Sunday afternoon.

OAKLAND, Calif. — Police are investigating reports of a shooting on the Oakland Technical High School campus on Sunday afternoon.

Police have not released any official statement about what happened, but officers were seen surveying the area near the school.

Witnesses say the Fresno-area 10-year-old Pop Warner football team was playing against the Oakland team when shots rang out in the stands. Witnesses say a grown man was shot, a 5-year-old girl was shot and another woman was grazed by a bullet.

“It’s just sad to hear these kids running and screaming, and you know when you see the faces of these kids and how they react to things like that, it’s even worse,” coach Quintrell Dotson said. by Oakland Dynamites Pop Warner. “Children don’t deserve to see and witness things like this, children don’t need to be there like this once you come to these events, anything outside, the nature shouldn’t even be happening here, so it hurts that it happened today.”

Police did not say whether any arrests were made.

The police also did not specify who they were looking for.
