Our clients include collecting societies, major and independent music publishers, and digital service providers such as Facebook, Mixcloud and Soundcloud. We ensure that composers and songwriters are compensated accurately and fairly for the use of their works.
As a member of ICE, you will work with some of the most knowledgeable and dedicated experts in the industry. We work closely with our customers to continuously develop our products and services to ensure the best results.
To expand our team in Berlin or Munich, we are looking for a Manager Licensing Administration (m / f / d) – CDD of 2 years.
You are responsible for:
- As an international point of contact for our licensing service, you work closely with music publishers and
- Authors’ companies provide outstanding results on their licensing online.
- You take care of the implementation, analysis, processing and quality management of international license agreements.
- Development and presentation of statistics for internal and external use.
- Communication with licensees and licensors across Europe.
- Use internal databases, analysis and invoicing tools and develop them further, according to the needs of the business.
- Work on complex international projects in the online industry and help shape the future of music licensing.
Minimum requirements:
- University degree in the fields of economics, information technology, communication / media sciences or you have completed vocational training in German dual system in a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
- Must have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis on MS Excel.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Empathy and cultural understanding to communicate / negotiate for positive results.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team.
- Must have strong communication skills to communicate the organizational vision and the goals and objectives of the company.
- Must possess the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and work effectively with team / department members to resolve inter-departmental issues.
- Must possess the analytical skills to make sound decisions, through the conceptualization and evaluation of different action plans to meet or exceed operational objectives.
- Exceptional knowledge and orientation in commercial affairs.
- Ability to manage commercially sensitive and confidential information with discretion, tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions that have a positive impact on the entire company.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, complex and rapidly growing / changing work environment; demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills.
- Motivated with a propensity for action and a keen sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of the music market industry and knowledge of SQL and XML is beneficial.
