The first half of the Provo, UT-based quartet-based independent digital two-part project includes the singles “UFO”, “Headlights” and “Summer Bird” as well as the new track “Live Til We Die”, which they also released an official lyric video for – PRESS HERE to concern. National Parks will celebrate the release of A Mix For The End Of The World – Part 1 tomorrow, Saturday 9 October, when they headline their own festival experience organized Superbloom Music Festival under the stars near the National Park de Zion at the Sand Hollow Resort in Ouragan, UT.

“We are delighted to have our new album in the world!” shares singer / guitarist Brady Parks. “This album is inspired by the times we live in. Feeling lost and alone in it all. This album is about finding joy in the moments of life with the people we love and seeing that through the ups and downs, life is good.

“With the release of the album, it means it’s time to celebrate! Parks adds. “We wanted to launch Superbloom as a celebration of life and music. A way for people to be together in a beautiful place with groups that have inspired us. This festival has been in the works for a long time, and we couldn’t be more excited that it’s finally here. We’re going to party like it’s the end of the world.

A mix for the end of the world – Part 1 follows The National Parks’ critically acclaimed 2020 album Wild flower and continues to showcase the group’s sonic evolution and Brady’s deep, heartfelt songwriting. The 8-track collection, recorded at June Audio and produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Scott Wiley, was inspired by love and life, and tells of the fear, joy, uncertainty and peace to which life might look like the end of the world.

National parks – Brady Parks [guitar, vocals], Sydney Macfarlane [keys, vocals], Cam Brannelly [drums] and Megan Parcs [violin] – presented the new collection for the first time this summer with the double release of “Headlights” and “Summer Bird”. The folk-tinged “Headlights”, with lovely harmonies from Brady and Sydney, is a song about how to escape the chaos to be with the person you love most and try to put out the noise of the day for a while. minute to focus on the beauty of life. The track ended up providing inspiration for the rest of the songs featured in Part 1 of the album. HURRY HERE to watch the official “Headlights” music video. On “Summer Bird”, a warm acoustic scratching and a soft voice soon opens with a great singable refrain of “I just want to fly away with you” amid dreams of better days to come. On A Mix For The End Of The World, The National Parks perfected their signature style of mixing folk / American and modern synths and drum sounds with big choruses that you can’t help but sing along to, as evidenced by the cosmic love song and the most recent single “UFO”, which was inspired by the first time Brady saw his now wife, Megan. HURRY HERE to watch the official lyrics video for “UFO”. Complete list of tracks from the album below.

The very first Superbloom music festival officially kicks off tonight with a VIP concert around a campfire, followed by tomorrow’s extravagance featuring National Parks and performances by Yoke Lore, Joseph, Joshua James, Ellee Duke , Brother. and the season of trees. HURRY HERE to listen to the official Superbloom 2021 Playlist on Spotify and PRESS HERE for more information on Superbloom Music Festival, including times.

Since their release in 2013 with their introductory album Young, National parks have gradually become an independent phenomenon with roots steeped in happy pop, cinematic electronics, organic orchestration and rock energy. The quartet has racked up over 150 million total streams, sold headlining shows across the country, toured with Andy Grammer, Peter Bjorn and John and WILD, and performed at KAABOO Del Mar, SXSW and CMJ, while garnering praise and support from the likes of NPR, Paste, PopMatters, Relix, Atwood Magazine, Glide Magazine, Parade and Substream Magazine and comparisons with The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons and The Head and The Heart . Their fourth full album, Wild flower, with the singles “Waiting For Lightning”, “Wildflower”, “Time” and “I Can Feel It”, took national parks to the next level and spawned The wildflower podcast.
