Seven Lions celebrates a decade of music with compilation album and documentary series

Seven Lions officially celebrates a decade of music. Although his first unofficial release, “Deep Divide”, is still on SoundCloud to this day, his first official release was on March 12, 2012 after he was announced the winner of Above & Beyond’s remix contest for their song ” You Got To Let Go” with Zoë Johnston The rest, as they say, is history.
To celebrate, Seven Lions have released a special compilation album via dancing astronautLabel of the Year 2021, Ophelia Records. Title ten Years of the Seven Lionsthe LP includes classics like “World’s Apart” from 2014, “Rush Over Me” from 2016 and “First Time” from 2018. Also included are two new takes of “The Blood” (Abraxis Remix) and an acoustic version of ” Rush Over Me”, interpreted by HALIENE.
Compilation isn’t the only way Seven Lions pays homage to 10 years of their career; he will also release a four-part documentary, 10 years of the Seven Lions, on Youtube. The first part chronicles his humble beginnings, when he released music under his real name (Jeff Montalvo) before eventually adopting the name “Seven Lions” and winning the remix contest, two moves that would change forever. the course of his career.
