MANILA – Star Music artist Vanya has released her debut EP titled “woman”.

The singer-songwriter’s 5-track EP “carefully tells the story of a beautiful and loved woman who was broken by the world and lost herself but finally found who she truly is.”

“Although this EP is short, it’s a sweet taste of promise for me because I had to drag myself to write and face things that I would prefer to avoid through this,” vanya said, admitting that she had hard to write about things she hasn’t experienced.

The “woman” EP includes vanya’s self-penned original songs “Mother”, “Real”, “Steady” and key track “Adoration” as well as “Breathe” composed by Justin Emmanuel Rivera. All tracks were produced by Pauline Lauran.

The Star Music artist hopes his EP will remind women of “the beauty that only they can give to the world and the sweetness that makes them strong”.

A former “Idol Philippines” contestant, vanya was also a performer in Himig Handog in 2019.

Before being a Star Music talent, she was an independent artist and vocal talent who performed commercial jingles. She is also a minister and full-time youth missionary on campus.

Vanya’s debut EP is now available on various digital music platforms.
