The Isaacs also brought in Ben Smallbone and Andrea Royer, known for their work with KING & COUNTRY, to create the group’s first video concept. People exclusively released the video “The American Face”, which “follows the group on their tour bus as they cross several states, highlighting a diverse group of people along the way (Vanessa Etienne).” The video also features footage of the Isaacs Home in Nashville performing at the Grand Ole Opry House and serving with The Bridge Ministry.
Sounds Like Nashville exclusively created the first listen to the Unifying Anthem, written by Sonya Isaacs Yeary, her husband Jimmy Yeary and Tom Douglas, in 2014. Inspired by the US motto E Pluribus Unum, translated as Out of Many , One, the lyrics sound “tailor-made for this era, even though they were written long before the pandemic and political upheavals that have dominated our culture for the past two years (Deborah Evans Price)”.
Produced by Ben Isaacs and Bryan Sutton, The American face is a collection of 12 songs split between new material like the title track and covers of classics like “More Than Words” from Extreme, “You’re The Inspiration” from Chicago, “We Can Work It Out” by The Beatles and Shania Twain’s “Forever and Foreverâ€. The Isaacs found inspiration for the album in the many genres that have influenced their musical style, including country, bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, contemporary, acoustics and gospel.
Through the Isaacs Foundation, the group will donate a portion of the proceeds from The American face to The Bridge Ministry, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit in Nashville, which exists to alleviate the suffering of underprivileged children, the homeless and the working poor by providing vital resources and a message of hope . The Isaacs, frontline descendants of Holocaust survivors, also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to bless Israel, especially Holocaust survivors, “lone” Israeli defense soldiers and orphans via the Isaacs Foundation, through the Fishman Isaacs Israel Initiative (FIII) since 2018.
Comprised of singers, siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman and their mother Lily Isaacs, The Isaacs have musical roots dating back to 1971. They play their own acoustic instruments and, joined by other members of the group, have a close family harmony style with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their remarkable sound has led to invitations from prominent contemporaries such as Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Paul Simon and many more to sing on numerous albums and stages.
The Isaacs are frequent guests of the Grand Ole Opry, active members of the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series, and perform over 100 dates a year to welcome fans around the world. The new inductees to the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame were also nominated and performed at the Dove Awards where they won seven trophies, the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, the National Quartet Convention Awards and the Inspirational Christian Country Awards. Two of their recent projects, produced by NFL Hall of Fame member Terry Bradshaw, received back-to-back GRAMMY® nominations for Best Roots Gospel Album as well as a nomination for Best Roots Gospel Song.
