Backing songs are important to MLB players. They prepared the ground, after all. A pitcher walks towards the mound, a song plays. A batter approaches to take his turn at bat, a song plays. It is a unique song for each player, a song that is not chosen by the team or the league, but by the player himself. As we have seen in the past, many talents from our communities make the list.

The first name, Bad Bunny, is not at all surprising. But he’s not the only one on the list either, with El Alfa, Myke Towers, Daddy Yankee and Anuel AA rounding out the Top 5 Latin artists on MLB playlists.

Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr., for example, will come to bat for the defending World Series champions to the tune of El Alfa’s “Llego el Moreno,” while Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will do so to ” Traigo Fuego”. ,” by La Banda Gorda and Fernando Tatis Jr. will be preceded by “Volví” by Aventura and Bad Bunny.

MLB highlighted some of the drop-in songs to promote the new season, which recently kicked off. After all, it’s not just about great music, but about sending a unique message to each individual. Not just about their roots and musical tastes, but about the kind of musician they are and what people can expect from them.

Ask most baseball fans and they’ll be able to tell you their favorite player’s song. Some might even sing it as their favorite MLB comes out. And the fact that so many of the songs sung come from artists in our communities is really important.
