“The record touches on everything from unrequited love to social conscience,†said band member Brad Murphey. “I’m not the type to stay in the stereotype of writing rock’n’roll songs about cars, girls and drugs as a topic. Some songs can be a bit twisted, so this is by no means your regular blues or acid rock album.
Murphey said playing original music for years was something ingrained in him and his bandmates, and this new album is a celebration of their return to live music after nearly two years of inactivity due to of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We do very well in front of an audience,†said Murphey. “We get the crowd moving, so I think people will have fun listening to this record. I just have to write music, because that’s how I’m built. I am delighted to continue writing and playing music. It’s not about being famous. It’s about wanting people to be entertained by our music and to share the love of music with other people.
