Will Love Musical Memo

Jojo

try not to think about it will make you think, and above all, replay it. It’s by far JoJo’s most raw work as well as her most unified release to date. Vulnerable lyrical content associated with themes of anxiety and depression are all too bound to listeners, especially in today’s society.

The 12-track EP, which comes across as more of a cohesive album, is noticeably devoid of filler content. On “Anxiety (Burlinda’s Theme)”, JoJo talks about her anxiety as if it were a person singing “you only show up when it’s not right for you”. On “Feel Alright”, JoJo asks “Do I love you this much or is this just something to do?” As everything about mental health approaches the unbearable stage due to artists suddenly singing about the subject in an obviously sales-driven commercial manner, JoJo avoids falling for the inauthentic but rather the needle. in a haystack of trends.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga

In 2014, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga were praised for their first jazz duo album, Cheek to cheek. The close friends have teamed up again for their second jazz album, love for sale. Interestingly enough, Bennett was actually diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease during the recording sessions. In August, the duo performed back-to-back shows at Radio City Music Hall, the final New York performance of Bennett’s career according to the press release.

love for sale is a covers album dedicated to Cole Porter. The duo shines their best on “I Get a Kick Out of You.” Fans also get a solid vocal solo from Gaga with the track “Let’s Do It.” It is unfortunate that, given Bennett’s state of health, this is the last work produced by the two superstars.

cold game

Music of the spheres marks Coldplay’s ninth studio album. This year, the band is planning a world stadium tour that includes two upcoming performances at MetLife Stadium on June 4 and 5. Curiously, there is a sci-fi concept attached to this album. Chris Martin said he found inspiration in the Cantina Band from the original Star Wars series. Months ago, Martin even spoke publicly about his desire to perform on the moon, which doesn’t seem as far away as it looks.

This new album is produced by elite pop music producer Max Martin. He helped make Britney Spears who she is today and ensured the successful evolution of Taylor Swift. Since Coldplay’s latest album, Daily life, was their worst sale to date – it made sense to bring in Max Martin. It already seems to be working as Coldplay’s single “My Universe” debuted atop the Hot 100, earning the band their second No. 1 single. It’s the first time since 2008. Viva La Vida that Coldplay topped the Hot 100. From “Higher Power” to “Infinity Sign,” this album is full of hits and hidden gems.

The scenario

Tales from the Script: Greatest Hits reminds listeners that the group has solidified itself within the music industry much more than initially thought. While not necessarily a household name, The Script have garnered a wide array of hit singles over their 15-year career so far. With six studio albums to their credit, most of the band’s singles have been commercially successful. Even if you’re not a fan, by listening you’ll realize how far The Script has come.

This is an album where you’ll think “oh I didn’t realize it was them” almost every listen. From “Breakeven to For the First Time” to “Hall of Fame”, The Script managed to achieve huge musical success without being immediately recognizable, which could very well be what he had always set himself for. Sometimes fame does more harm than good in the music industry.
