Bluegrass band Trampled By Turtles have announced the release of their next album Alpenglow and it will be everywhere on October 28th. The record is the band’s tenth album and each track could very well be the strongest collection of music.

Most tracks on Alpenglow are written by vocalist Dave Simonett, whose songwriting focuses on the connection the band has with its fans. The melody On the highway expresses the struggles that life can bring as long as we stay on the right path. Beautiful central hill Blues explains how to deal with loss while Quitting is hard is about having the strength to carry on when life gets tough.

On another note, Trampled By Turtles have announced a fall tour in support of the release of Alpenglow. The group sold out venues everywhere with fans who weren’t afraid to sing and dance to the music. With Simonett (guitar), Erik Berry (mandolin), Ryan Young (violin), Dave Carroll (banjo), Tim Saxhaug (bass) and Eamonn McLain (cello), they become a rock band that only uses instruments with strings. With Alpenglowpeople will understand why Trampled By Turtles continues to dazzle the minds of the public with their music.
